Licensing
Pilot Software offers 5 different licensing options for JWord rich text editor component. The licensing options are described in summary below. For details see License file.
a. Evaluation License (EVALUATION)
Evaluation license allows users to use the component for evaluating purposes only.
b. Single Developer License (DEVELOPER)
A Single Developer License licenses one developer to create and deploy an unlimited number of applications using JWord. The derived works that are desktop applications can be distributed to third-parties royalty-free. The derived works that work as a server based application can be deployed to only one site.
c. Company License (COMPANY)
A Company License licenses up to ten (10) developers to create an unlimited number of derived works using JWord. The derived works that are desktop applications can be distributed to third-parties royalty-free.The derived works that work as a server based application can be deployed to only one site.
d. Company OEM License (OEM)
A Company OEM License licenses up to ten (10) developers to create an unlimited number of derived works using JWord. The derived works that are desktop applications can be distributed to third-parties royalty-free. The derived works that work as a server based application can be deployed to any number of sites.
e. Source Code License (SOURCE)
A Source Code License licenses up to ten (10) developers to create an unlimited number of derived works using JWord. The derived works that are desktop applications can be distributed to third-parties royalty-free. The derived works that work as a server based application can be deployed to any number of sites. You are also given the right to use, copy and modify the source code internally, without distributing with your application.
